Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güçlü Gülanber began his studies at Istanbul University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1983, graduating in 1988. He worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Surgery at the same university, where he completed his doctoral thesis in 1994, earning the title of DVM, PhD. His thesis was the first PhD dissertation in the field of acupuncture within health sciences in Turkey.
Following his doctorate, Dr. Gülanber served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Istanbul University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. In 2001, he left academia to establish the G&G Academia Veterinary Diagnosis and Treatment Center, where he has since continued his professional career. He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2018.
In 1992, he completed training in Veterinary Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at Beijing Agricultural University in China, receiving his certification. He also earned certifications in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Laser Applications at Hebei University of Veterinary Medicine in China. Additionally, he holds diplomas from Chi University (USA, Florida) in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA), Veterinary Herbal Therapy (CVCH), and Veterinary Food Therapy (CVFT). Dr. Gülanber has also completed a master’s degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in Small Animals.
He specializes in complementary and integrative therapies, particularly in treating orthopedic, neurological, and oncological conditions. His expertise includes bioresonance-frequency therapy, energy medicine, homeopathy, homotoxicology, prolotherapy, neural therapy, andozone therapy.
Dr. Gülanber has authored over 50 national and international scientific publications. He currently practices as a clinician at G&G Academia.
He is a founding member and Board Director of theWorld Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Acupuncture, a member of the American Association of Veterinary Acupuncture, and a founding member and Board Director of both the Asia-Pacific Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and the European Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
